There’s also Somerset Hall, which boasts nearly 12,000 square feet of resort-style swimming pools, a fitness center, massage and sauna rooms, sun deck, library, a TV/internet lounge and a billiards room.
If tennis is more your game, we recommend Bridgetown at The Plantation. Bridgetown Hall is the community’s hub and it features a swimming pool, sauna, fitness center, tennis pro shop and six tennis courts.
Preferred home designs include the Cheshire, Mackenzie II and Tourmaline.

Cheshire homes include two bedrooms and two baths. The carriage homes boast 1,654 square feet of living space and only have a one-story option.

Tourmaline homes are the two-story carriage home option and they offer 2,297 square feet of total living space, including three bedrooms and two and half baths.

The Plantation Golf & Country Club Golf Course
Designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, The Plantation Golf & Country Club golf course has a few elevation changes, and the fairways have a lot of rolls and dips to help create definite target areas. There are also a few chipping areas, which are contoured to really test each player's short game skills. Additionally, the bunkering is crafted in the "Pinehurst" style, so it’s not overly deep, but it is steep.
The 7,233-yard course also has tees at different angles to provide even more of a challenge.
At the pro shop, residents and guests can get lessons, have clubs repaired and re-gripped, and purchase merchandise and equipment.
There are annual golf events including travel days, specified play days for men and women, couples' events, themed tournaments, and guest days.
